Empowering Communities, Transforming Futures

ARA (Action for Rural Advancement) is a non-governmental, non-profit, and development organization established in 1996 by a group of young social entrepreneurs in Satkhira, a southwestern coastal district of Bangladesh. The organization is dedicated to working on critical sectors such as climate change, women's empowerment, safe water, human rights, elderly care, and disaster management. It plays a significant role not only in solving local problems but also in improving the living standards of marginalized communities.

From the building in 1996, ARA did and doing lots of work including 'Ensuring Safe water', 'Non-formal primary education', 'Protect Human Rights Violation' along with the 'Climate Change Programmes'. Recently established OLD AGE HOME as a charity work.
